Year 5
Year 5 - 5S

Class Teacher: Sophie Singh

Welcome to 5S, we are very excited to be moving up in the school! In Year 5 we will be learning new Building Learning Power tools to become even better learners. In Maths we are focusing on Place Value and Number to start off the year.  We must make sure our basic skills (number bonds and times tables) are spot on in order to move onto more advanced work.

We consistently follow our school’s Golden Rules and strive to be the best ‘Smallwooders’ both in school and outside of school that we can be.

Things to remember:
We have dance and P.E every weekPlease remember to bring in your P.E kit at the beginning of the week. Book bags need to be brought into school on Mondays and Thursdays. Please write in your child’s reading record to show that you have read together at home. Please remember to complete two home learning activities each week, and sign your child’s home learning bingo card- we will talk about them in class on Mondays.

Year 5 - 5G

Class Teacher: Raewyn Goulding

We are happy, kind and enthusiastic children. We work hard to further our learning and we love getting Dojo points for our learning and for being good role models. We have already enjoyed what we have learnt so far this term. In Year 5 we will be learning new Building Learning Power tools to become even better learners. In Maths we are focusing on Place Value and Number to start off the year.  We must make sure our basic skills (number bonds and times tables) are spot on in order to move onto more advanced work.
